World’s End Sri Lanka
The viewpoint is one of the main highlights of the Horton Plains hiking trail, together with Mini World’s End and Baker’s Falls. The famous circular trail starts at the Horton Plains Visitor Centre and covers approximately 9 km, usually taking around three hours to complete.
World’s End Horton Plains Hiking Trail
The only way to reach World’s End within the national park is by walking the designated hiking trail. Horton Plains is particularly special because it is a Sri Lankan national park where visitors explore the main attractions on foot rather than by traditional safari jeep.
The main circular trail is approximately 9 km and takes around 3–4 hours, depending on your walking pace, photography stops and weather conditions.

- 6.00am: Begin your hike through the beautiful highland grasslands and cloud forests. World’s End → Mini World’s End → Baker’s Falls. Enjoy the spectacular viewpoints and waterfall before completing the walking trail.
- 11:00 AM – Complete the trail
